Polo Club

The Costa Careyes Polo Club is home to tradition and expertise. Located three miles south of the main gate to Careyes, it features two regulation Bermuda grass fields and stables for 150 horses, ensuring a top-tier polo experience.

Founded in 1990 by Giorgio Brignone, the son of Careyes' Founder, the club's history and roots dive deep into the essence of Careyes. With top-tier players for across the world and many resident homeowners participating, the club is a vibrant, international community that love polo and the extraordinary coastal lifestyle of Careyes.

ABOUT THE POLO CLUB

Gian Franco Brignone, the founder of Costa Careyes, dreamt of a man and a woman united by the cosmos while bathed in the light of the setting sun. In 2006, the manifestations of his dream were created. Majestically perched on a cliff overlooking Playa Teopa, La Copa del Sol, which represents the woman, rises 35 feet from its base and is over 88 feet in diameter. Equally an acoustic and visual marvel, it catches and cups the sun.
